Job Type: Part-time, Freelance, Contractor
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
Must be fluent in English and located in North America.
This role includes a variety of activities, from Salesforce declarative configuration to robust integrations with other systems. The ideal candidate will be personable, a fast learner, and a technical expert in their realm.
This role will work with our client-facing consultants to deliver successful value-adding projects for the client. This person must be proactive in anticipating the needs of the client and must ensure that those needs are met to the best of our team’s ability.
KaroTech Consulting specializes in the small business and growth business space. This means our clients are generally under 50 users of Salesforce. This is a very different work environment than with enterprise-level projects. Often there is only one, maybe two, primary stakeholders. Things move along very quickly. Projects have timelines of weeks and months instead of many months or years. We provide implementation, improvement project, and long-term system admin services to our clients.

Job requirements:
Design and develop technical solutions in Salesforce, extensive experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform which should include: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, SOQL, Apex data loader, and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.)
Develop and Maintain Triggers, APIs, Unit Testing, Create and Maintain Workflows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, Record Types, Profiles, Field Level Security (FLS), Object Level Security (OLS), Templates, Email Alerts, Custom Settings, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Visualforce pages, Visualforce Components, and Custom Controllers. Salesforce configuration including security, custom objects, layouts, and reports
Extensive experience in Salesforce development using Lightning, Apex and VisualForce.
Experience with AURA and Lightning Web Component development.
Ability to understand an implemented architecture, and deliver on technical specifications on what the clients need while adhering to overall product architecture & organization standards
Knowledge of integrations, 3rd party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce and Web Services development or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData, etc.) and familiarity with security concepts (authentication, authorization, Shield encryption), SSL, web service proxies, firewall, SAML and OAuth 2.0)
Good experience in SFDC configuration and mapping features to the business requirements, played active role in functional and technical grooming
Play a hands-on role during all phases of the lifecycle including planning, coding, testing, and support
Good understanding of Salesforce technology best practices of coding standards.
Preferred certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder and Salesforce Platform Developer I / II
